Back to my 'country home' now and under the Sywell-Duxford flight path so lots of opportunities for warbird spotting, Sure enough I heard a LOUD piston engine roaring overhead and it was THE Tempest, the only Tempest II flying anywhere. Boy, was it EVER load!

Don't get coyotes in S London, but I see foxes virtualy every day, and this time of year with their cubs in tow.

A Pied Currawong was in one of the big gums at the bottom of the yard. Eating gum nuts and dropping the remains on the tin roof of next doors shed.
Don't often see them round here. They are related to Australian Magpies. About 19" long.

A crop duster was buzzing around yesterday. One of those yellow turboprops. If my granddaughter had been around she would have been very exited. She's likes to watch planes fly over.
