They wanted to get home in time for the fireworks.....  ;)

LOL!

The RAF were back at it this week, Monday a Voyager arrived, didn't see which one but it went home the next morning. Then on Wednesday, ZZ175 pulled up right next to where I was stationed ----

It went home this morning, I saw it take off in another show of short-takeoff. Then a few hours later, saw another Voyager arrive.

Mind you, on Tuesday the Atlas Air 747 was right where ZZ175 was yesterday, I wasn't able to get a pic of it as I was just around the corner of the DHL warehouse on gate duty, so couldn't get around to it.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yes, 380 contrails are as distinctive as 747s. They go 4 into one and then split into two rather wide ones. A 747-400 goes 4 into 2 and stays like that.

Thanks for the tip I'll keep an eye on that ! I know the 747 trails, but haven't really spotted a lot of these guys.

Here's something interesting ---

So what you might say, WestJet currently operates about 140 737's of various variants, well this one is different ---

A couple of months ago, WestJet showed off their new 767 ER which is now being run on the Toronto/Calgary route. It had a new logo painted on and it was announced that all the fleet would get the new logo --- well this 737 is one of the first to appear with it (and I've seen two of them so far)

Two CF-18's just whizzed over the house,  too low and quick to run in and get the camera.  They seem to do this every now and then.
