In honor of JHM's getting back to the essence of modelbuilding, I've decided to do a super fast build. This is a DC-3 that I was going to make into a firebomber, but I see it being a Gooneybird instead. ;)  B) Here's what I have at 1930 CMT. I'll post my progress before I hit the rack. I'm listening to a little bit of mood music while I get to it.  Static-X; Wisconsin Death Trip.   Be back later....

This is 1 hrs. worth. I had to go made dinner for Evan and do the dishes.
If anyone out does not use Tenax-7, start. Work killer and seams are very easy to clean. Megadeth is in order right now. Peace sells...but who's buying and So far, So good, So what..  :)

Construction 99% complete. Paint, Good start. I'll finish tomorrow and hopefully get the decal on too. The last musical selection for t his evenings session was Queensryche-Operation: Mindcrime. I can't remember yesterday. I just remember doing what they told me...told me...told me  :)

Love that olive drab!  What kind of paint is that?  You've got various kinds of Testors stuff in the background...

It's Testors 1711. but I think what changes it's appearence is how I put it on. I'm sure everyone already knows this, but I didn't. FSM did a brushpainting article that said to use a small plastic paint pattete. Put your paint in one side (your choice of how much to avoid waste) and thinner in another well of the palette. As your paint thickens, dip your brush into the thinner and you can keep the same viscosity through out the session. I'm glad someone finally told me this idea. ;)   Does wonders for me.

Has anyone here ever tried just putting a drop or two of Future under a decal instead of doing a complete gloss coat? Well today, I'm going to find out if it works for me.

Thank you guys for the encouragement. I remembered that this IS a W.I. site, so I'm going to spice it up just a bit. ;)  :)

Wow Mr Miller this one's looking great! I really like the tone of your OD on it! I can't wait to see how you spice it up. Jalepenos? Mexican markings? A dash of Tobasco™?

Brian da Basher

Eddie M.

Well, spicy can be hot, so hot if fact, it could be explosive, right? ;) Unfortunately, the law of phyics that keep paint from curing quickly, has taken effect. Got one side of decals on and waiting for them to dry. I might be ready for a flat coat after we get back from NASA tomorrow.         .
