Got to the bench today despite the sweltering heat for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Progress on the 97 before it got to hot. She's now standing on all 3 legs after weight was addded through the conviniently placed open panel. That has also now been clicked into position as have the tail boom "ends" at the leading edge. I've also decided how I'm going to deal with the canopy frames. There's no masking set available and this is the area my hand/eye issues cause me the most grief with, I can't mask canopies, perhaps simple ones, but that's it. I've grown to depend on these and it's good to see Airfix producing some

Now just have to wait for some Xtracolour to dry  After that it's touch-ups and transfers before the final fiddly bits.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Somehow I think some designers not far from Linköping must have been looking at one of those....................  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
