Try doing that with 15/18mm wargames figures, there in lies insanity
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Valid point, hopefully the droid eyes should be more manageable  ;D

Here's a brief summary of the plot I've written. I might even enter the back-story as it's own entry into the 1 week GB?  :o

Jaybo Hood, a brilliant and adventurous 10-year-old boy living on the remote planet of Iego, spends his time reprogramming the battle droids left behind after the Clone Wars. With a personality that blends the daring of a young Han Solo and the mechanical genius of Anakin Skywalker, Jaybo quickly makes a name for himself.
During the Clone Wars episode "Mystery of a Thousand Moons," Jaybo assists Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in recovering the Reeksa plant — a rare, carnivorous species — and helps them escape Iego's deadly laser defense grid, lifting what locals called the Curse of Drol. With the curse broken, Iego is once again open to the wider galaxy.
Exposure to the galactic world brings Jaybo into contact with underground droid fighting circuits. Inspired, he decides to build his own fighter using a reprogrammed B1 battle droid that had once served as his personal butler. Using spare parts from the war and the salvaged computer core of a tactical droid, Jaybo creates a droid capable of analyzing and exploiting opponents' weaknesses. But more than just a fighter, Jaybo gives the droid artificial intelligence — a true companion.
The droid soon develops a unique personality, mirroring Jaybo's curiosity about nature and engineering. Together, they explore the wilds of Iego. Wanting to appear more natural, the droid is modified with clawed feet, articulated fingers, mandibles, and even "ears." For combat, Jaybo arms him with a salvaged electro-sword from a BX commando droid and a B1 blaster. A hidden vibro-dagger is installed in the forearm for fights where standard weapons are banned. Upgraded optical sensors help anticipate threats more efficiently.
The droid, eventually named Kliktik, begins to exhibit a conscience — even refusing to harm sparring partners. To manage this, Jaybo installs a switch to toggle between companion and combat modes. In combat mode, Kliktik's eyes glow red, and his personality changes entirely. His unique fighting style — especially a deadly wrist-spin that turns his electro-sword into a spinning disc of death — earns him the stage name Split. To match the identity, Jaybo paints him half-black, half-white.
By the time he reaches 16, Jaybo and Split have won countless matches and accumulate enough credits to purchase a Corellian freighter which they modify. They name it the Stentor — a long-bodied, violin-shaped ship equipped with weapon systems, escape pods, a telescoping cargo boom, and a powerful cloaking device.
With their new ship, they explore the galaxy. On the jungle moon of Endor — they encounter Nepanthids, carnivorous, pitcher-like plants that sprint after prey using root-like limbs. Strangely, Kliktik is not seen as prey, and through a mixture of cunning and patience, he becomes the first being to train one. They adopt a young Nepanthid with two heads and five running roots, naming it Hermatah. It becomes their loyal — if unpredictable — companion.
As their reputation grows, so does the danger. During one tournament held by a Hutt crime lord, Chawga, Jaybo is secretly ordered to throw the final match in favor of the Hutt's chosen fighter. Jaybo refuses. Split wins — spectacularly. Enraged, Chawga sends his guards to destroy Split. But the droid unleashes devastation: spinning his plasma blade into a shield of fire, he deflects blaster bolts and fires back with deadly precision. Hermatah joins the fray, devouring several attackers. Together, the trio fights their way back to the Stentor and escape into hyperspace under the cloak of stealth.
Tragically, their victory is short-lived.
One night, while Jaybo is out celebrating their latest victory alone, a Hutt-hired assassin catches him off-guard and murders him. Split awakens to find his best friend dead. In a moment of grief and fury, he rips off his mode-switch, permanently fusing his personalities into one. He returns Jaybo's body to Iego and buries him beneath their favorite tree.
There, mourning and lost, Kliktik undergoes a transformation. Seeking deeper harmony with nature, he repaints his chassis in sand with maroon stripes and white undersides — echoing the markings of a Loth-cat or Nexu. He also begins wearing a robe inspired by the wings and dress of the Geonosians — the very beings who created his kind.
Now driven by vengeance and bound by memory, Kliktik sets off with Hermatah aboard the Stentor, hunting down every last individual responsible for Jaybo's death — even assassinating members of the Hutt Cartel. His ruthless efficiency and evolving code of honor earn him a reputation as both bounty hunter and avenger. Yet Kliktik chooses his missions carefully: targeting war criminals, slavers, corrupt officials, and corporations destroying ecosystems. He becomes a symbol of retribution — feared, respected, and never bought.
No longer just a droid, Kliktik — Split — becomes a legend.

Thanks! The back-story took more time to do than the droid build  ;D
