How about the old '12000 grit emery paper and toothpaste' process on the windscreen?

I may have to resort to that, but the issue is that the glue has eaten into it somewhat; it's not just a smear on the surface... 

Perhaps it was visited by a member of the avian community?

That could work - or a 'barn find' diorama, with the windscreen/etc under a tarp... hmm.

AMTs dig through their old moulds continues and they have reached something i'm excited about.

I've wanted an Unreal Edsel since I discovered their existance about 20 years ago.  After all, an altered wheelbase '58 Edsel funny car.  What's not to like?
Unfortunately they were very rare and I had resigned myself to never getting hold of one.
But now, they've been repopped.  Hooray!  Take that collectors.
