Hopefully not with Swiss Army knives...."Hold on!  Let me draw my blade (grumble grumble), if I can find it....That's not it!.  Will the corkscrew do?"
"As long as people are going to call you a lunatic anyway, why not get the benefits of it?  It liberates you from convention."- from the novel WICKED by Gregory Maguire.

QuoteGreat Viggen, Patrick!
Thanks Mike

QuoteWhen I saw BAF I thought it was Bolivian Air Force....Wouldn't that be interesting?
mmm, indeed, and if you hurry you can finish it in time for the Latin o rama contest  ;)

QuoteGermans, Austrians and Swiss in a knife-fight that got out of control over who made the best chocolate

Got to agree with that Patrick - bought 1.5kg back from Ypres - for the girls in the office of course  :P
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Lovely kit always had a soft spot for the viggen. Just the right look of weirdness about it.

Given the swedish passion for rugged versatility, the ability to operate from improvised airstrips and a design that enabled it to be serviced in the field I wonder why the RAAF never considered it.

But what the hell this is what if?

Hmm a RAAF Viggen, I saw an 1/48th airfix kit in a store not far from here. Be back soon.
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Nick

I've sat in a Viggen and it was rather comfortable. The wings are pretty strong, they can definitely hold 8 guys for a photo shoot....

I've got an Aussie one planned with a brown/sand variation of the Swedish splinter camo, just have to get round to actually starting it

Not to cause an international incedent here, but I prefer Swiss chocolate. :dum:  :dum:  :dum:
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
