What about putting it into something on four wheels? Phill and Fred would both appreciate it, I'm sure...  ;)

;D  ;D   In that case, I will be happy to donate it to ANY needy modeller

A 1/32 scale, LARGE vectored thrust turbofan in a car, tank or truck?

The mind truly boggles!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Think of the possibilities!  Overtaking (ie going over) by using vectored thrust, sudden radical changes of direction,  unseemly scorched patches on roads..........

Off the top of my head, a hovercraft.
Replace the two rear nozzles with a single one providing propulsive thrust only and use the front nozzle air to provide lift.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Or dump it into the engine bay to represent the turbojet in a 1/24 KITT... would take some real creativity to model the engine bay of a jet-powered supercar, since ALL reference material available from Knight Rider shows an unmodified 305cid Crossfire V-8.

Quote from: Beermonster58 on May 20, 2026, 12:14:44 AMThe two seater variants certainly hit the spot for me. A two seat "Wild Weasel" Harrier comes to mind 😉😂👍

And why not? In ANY scale.................

I was thinking that applying Kit's rule number 1 might be applicable as well, especially in view of the Harriers short range, lack of a "wet" wing AND, the need to accommodate extra fuel and, a decent load of things that go bang😉😂!

The 1st gen Harrier had a wet wing out to about half span.
