Heavy Bombers in Isreali service

I've often wondered how an F-105 would look in IDF markings.

Probably a slightly darker version of the desert scheme flown on one EF-105G, "The Desert Fox", close to the retirement point of the EF-105G.  I seem to remember this one going to the museum at an air base in Northern California.

There was also an F-105D in European One "Lizard" colours too.

I remember seeing that more than one... I think Wyrmshadow made a 3D rendering of an Israeli thud.

I thought they were F-105Gs from the last AFRES unit flying them.  I could be mis-remembering, though, the events were 20 year ago.

Well, I'm planning on making my Secret Santa 1/144 F-111 Israeli. Not really a heavy bomber per se, it should still be pretty cool.
