Well, there's this 'sand tiger' or somat that I'm going to call it. A CDN Army bird.....

The 'grey ghost' anti-shipping bird of the RCN....

The British Army Huey from Vietnam.......

The RCN Thundershark.........

The British Army SOA Merlin.....

The RCN and RCA Joint Helicopter Force ( I love saying 'joint' ! ) Lynxes......

These two as-yet-to-be revealed attack helos........

The Twin-Tophe build....I'll finish someday !

A JTF2 Griffon Night Prowler

Here's a hint of the above as-yet-to-be revealed bird....

And the original grey ghost before she commited hari kari....

I also have a half-built Chinook type Kamov, and plan on bashing together a Merlin and a CH-53 to make a proposed EH heavy lifter.

Show me that LHX Blue Thunder! I loooove that bird, in OD she'd be killer!

Um, has everyone forgotten my RNZAF MD-500 "Fantail"? That's in progress for the ARC Helo GB.

ARC!!!!! :P

I'd like to do some more helo whifs, but I can't be bothered at the mo. I've been a rotorhead since birth (dad flew an ag Jet Ranger), but I can't muster enough interest. I'd love to do a real world 212 my dad used to fly in to go to the oil rigs, built from an Italeri 412.

I'm thinking of getting a thunder-squadron/monogram snap-tite Apache for a quick build, hopefully fit hasnt gotten worse since I've last built one(10+ years ago). I'm thinking a green-gray/black/white scheme for winter operations in eastern europe.

If I find one, I'll do something equally snazzy with a Commanche.

What about an Air Defense Apache  ? B)

Apart from the I-16/P-51 hybrid I'm currently busy with , I'm toying to perhaps configure the Academy AH-64 into a ADV Helo.

Got some spare AMRAAMS , Sidewinders and AIM-54 Phoenix missiles in the sparebox - these would look superduper cool on an Apache  :P

I love kitbashing - although it's not that easy for me as a newbie

Yeah, I guess I kinda gave that one away, eh ?

Thanks for the kind words, Philp ! Looking forward to seeing some of your ideas in plastic.

I'm also planning on doing a Sea King called 'Golden Boy', and painting it overall gold. It'll be number 403, the oldest serving one in Canada, "golden Anniversay 1964-2014 "

I might do it in 350th scale, tho...be a bit of a cheat.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I always thought it would be neat to work off the Sikorsky S-67 (which used some H-3 parts) theory & make a "Super S-67" using H-53 parts & a "Super Duper S-67" using H-53E parts, kind of like the way Bell has continually developed the Cobra. Maybe even go backwards in time, (very early 'nam & make gunships from the H-19 & H-34, tho if you did a typical gunship type nose section, they would become "mid-engined" helos instead of "nose-engined". Sort of like Bell's Sioux Scout, which used an H-13 as a basis.

Another idea I had ( and actually started, but it's in the flood boxes ) was using two wessex choppers put together to form a double ended VTOL transport thing for beach assaults. Those big jet pipes sticking out the sides look too much like nozzles.....

Any S-67 build is fine by me! Notch up another best friend!

Set aside a 1/48 Commanche to convert into a Blue Thunder MkII, and probaly going to scratchbuild a production S-67 Blackhawk.
