Here is my Hughes R-12B, in 1/72 from the Anigrand kit.  I sort of threw it together and it is mighty rough in places, but from a few feet away it looks OK.  Overall semi-gloss black (hides a lot of my mistakes) with red markings, as it might have been marked while in Korea, 1952.

The R-12 (nee F-12) is HUGE!!  It dwarfs almost everything else in my collection - that is an Emhar F-94 in front of it.

Here is another shot of the Hughes R-12B, with an SR-71 and F-105B, all in 1/72 of course, for scale reference.  The R-12 has props borrowed from an HE-177, a canopy from an F-15, and is a confirmed tail-sitter, so I have a jar of paint under the tail.

Very beautiful...
And it is nice to have the F-105 close to it, to appreciate the size - I remember having read that the Thunderchief was the biggest US single-engined ever...
The paint support provided me with a great smile, thanks for having directed our eyes to it, for fun and understanding ^_^

Yea I was very suprised when I opened the box and took a look - it was huge

Looks good in that finish btw
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Here is another shot - that black paint really hides my grevious mistakes and blunders in building this.

That really looks sharp!  And allow me to also jump on the "Holy crud that's huge!" bandwagon.  ;)

Excellent paint scheme, it looks natural in the black.

It is a super smart bird!

Tiger, the Arado 555 in the first photo it's a 1/72 model too?
I thought it was bigger...but it is no more in size than a P-80!!! :(

The Arado 555 is in 1/72, and is bigger than an F-80; its about the size of a B-26.  I have it configured as a recon-bomber as re-engineered by the US after WWII.

Thanks for directing us to the first picture background. I see a nice US Draken, and not less than 4 Starfighters... is the blue one a dream? or a not-much-known Real decoration?
Great collection anyway, let me clap my hands... :P

Good job on hiding the mistakes and blunders. ;)
It looks good in that black color.

Nice work! I want to build one but have never seen one in any shops around here. Is the SR-71 1/72 also? The 105 (real one) is big in person I seen one last weekend.
