The Wooksta!

Apparently, Lazlo has problems mounting pics (ooer missus) and they won't go up (less beer mate!).  He therefore asked me to give it a spin.

Anyway, inuendo aside, some of these may have been seen before.

First up, that snazzy Aussie TSR2 test bird.

Geeze... Talk about intimidating us after signing up for the group build. :P

What is it about all these TSR2's and how pretty they all seem to be? There's nary a dodgy looking one in the bunch. Have you ever put one together and had the paint only to say not up to your standard?

The canopy of the last one just look cool!! The TSR-2 will probably have one like this one for a MLU if only it enter in service :(

Very nice. The T3 would be a trainer version?

Love the red/white scheme one. Question, How did Lazlo manage to do that awsome canopy??

Yep, that green and gold ARDU version will be one of my builds, along with the orange and white developement of the scheme and the orange and white lowers with camouflaged uppers developement of THAT scheme! :D That will be my ARDU test fleet with the first two having the serials I used in my RAAF Eagle history and the third a selected serial from the RAAF GR1 fleet.

Just have to find some pictures of the Karinga cluster bombs the RAAF developed in the early eighties that was cancelled. Then I can have an "almost was" bomb under a "what if" aircraft...... ;)

Again, great work Lazlo and Wooksta!

Cheers

To true Wooksta, the ARDU schemes have been around for quite a while, I just wrote a WiF backstory to suit myself that I threw on here.

The second scheme had a green and gold band across the fin with a green and gold ARDU badge in the centre, sets off the orange and white scheme quite nicely but they are quite hard to lay hands on. Do you want me to keep a look out for some?

Cheers

What kit did you use for these fantastic TSR-2's?  Are these early versions of the Airfix kit?
