Here's the SAAF Victor that Phil C. and I did in about 12 hours combined.  Yes that's right......12 bloody hours.  Note to self.  When combat modeling (Phil says modeling with two "L's"), don't use a poo-poo (with an english accent) kit!!!

Details are not much but notice Magic for self defence, and ESM sensors on the tanks and carrots.  Bombs (10 x 1000lb on mega ter rack, B-52 style, didn't get finished, damn paint bottles we Americans favor got stuck.

The scheme was inspired by the SAAF Mirage F1.  Helluva colors / colours eh?

However, during the build I've found another use for a Victor.  Or at least part of it.  Watch this space.........

That looks good Scoot, nice scheme

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

AWESOME SCOOT!!!

That scheme just looks so right on any plane, be it Victor, Scooter, Hornet, Mig-29, Mirage F-1 :D Could I ask what colour you used for the grey?

BTW glad you're enjoying the books :D

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

wow, not only a beautifull model but to me the most amazing thing is that you've finished it in 12 hours. I sometimes need 12 months (and more) to finish one

Fabulous!!!!!

Today, I saw a 15€ (something like 18$US) for a Revell 1/72 Tanker Victor!! The model looks find, with good details etc...

But it is TOO big!!! I have no place for such a monster!! But now that I see your SAAF Victor, I admit that... maybe...

Oh I agree.  LOVE those colors and scheme.  The grey used was FS36118 Gunship grey.  Don't remember what I used for the topsides.  I think 30118 for the tan and 35096 for the green.

Oh, that is a beauty!!!

Those colours are lovely, and the sharkmouth is a lovely touch, looks just right on a Victor.  Must remember that if I ever whif a Victor  :tornado:

Of the three "V" bombers, I liked the look of the Victor and loved the Vulcan.  The crescent wing always impressed me on the Victor and that paint scheme does look very convincing.  Hope you can finish it up with the ordnance and post another image.

I totally agree. My Luftwaffe Victor tanker has a bloody great full colour sharks mount on her. Makes the plane look seriously awsome.
