A little simpler than the CF version, but unmistakeable lines.

By the way, have you ever taken a close look at what the Imperial Stormtroopers are carrying in Star Wars?  ;)

Yeah, most of the personal weapons in the first trilogy were based on assorted WWII weapons: Sterlings, Mauser pistols, etc.

Kind of looks like a Daewoo K2 or a Bofors AK5.  Now the future is the bullpup....Hint, Hint, Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink, Say no more, Say no more... B)

I hate bullpups, unless they're pseudo-bullpups like the FG-42.

Love your carbine design Jules, looks awsome. Never fired the Browning 9mm, but I have handled the L7A1 and L34A1 (Sterling SMG) on the ranges of HMS Osprey when I was a navy cadet, good days.

BTW, the stormtrooper carbines WERE based on the Sterling SMG, and Rebel blaster pistols were based on the Mauser C96 Broom handle.

There's also a couple weapons based on the MG34 and StG-44 as well.

I've had hold of a FG42, gave it back to the owner when he said it was £25,000 and that was about 20 years ago  :o      ;)  :D

Heh awesome. I'd love to shoot one one day, it'd probably be the only thing to beat hipshooting an FN MAG which I did when I was in the navy.
