NARSES2

In the 1960's the Bolivian AF (FAB) purchased a small number of re-conditioned Mystere IVB's from the French to be used in support of their F86's in the fighter-bomber role. Latter in their life they were upgraded in order to operate sidewinders in the air-defence role and it is in this latter configuration that I have modeled 658 of the FAB.

...and the Bolivians used Ex-FAV (Venezuelan Air Force) F86F Sabres until the early 1990s.  Yes, they had used aircraft.  Bolivia seems to be like the little brother of the region- it gets all the hand-me downs.

Aren't those Aztek decal sheets great?

All colourful, just like S American planes should be  :)

Was going to say something else, but I forgot  :dum:

Heres one I took of Chris's Mystere at last weekends Hornchurch show. Pity I forgot to take my Domicican Ouragan.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Nice one Chris, love that Bolivian scheme.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Well I was planning on a S American Vautour when one of the new kits comes out latter in the year - but I definately hadn't thought of a naval one

And Dragon those Aztec transfer sheets are really good - not only colourfull but you get all the information you need on them, plus the national markings on the 1/48 scale F5 ones fit 1/72 scale aircraft.

Looking at Martin's photo makes me realise that I really must read my camera's instructions and PRACTICE
