Just seen this on Facebook, I am tempted to have a look, all depends on how I can get there.

I see on FB that they've nearly finished putting the Beverley back together. You could hold a model show inside that!

That would be great. I have been waiting for them to finish rebuilding the Beverley, as I need to see it.

You and me both Chris, I'll have to get up there and refresh my many memories of the Bevs.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I had a full tour around that actual Bev (It was the only one left at the time anyway.........) when it was at the Army Transport Museum in Beverley itself, but that was a LONG time ago now!

Family Rheged did the same aeons ago.  I seem to recall the tricky bit was getting  a four-year-old Rheged Minor up the ladder onto the flight deck.  I'm going to be in Carlisle early next month. I'll swing past the airport and see how Dougie and his accomplices are getting on with the Beverley
