Over the years I have been fortunate to buy the second release of the Revell 1/200 Boeing SST concept that never flew. Although there's a full sized mock up in an American museum. The Americans went to a lot of trouble to build their own version of the BAC Concorde only to run out of money before it was completed.
Boeing's version had swing-wings and a cranked nose, when they couldn't get the wings to work they opted for the familiar delta wing.

Two of the builds are my own design and the Pan Am was already built but damaged. I added a vertical tail fin from the/72 Airfix Saab Draken kit and the tip of the nose is broken.

Here's another one from a previous GB in the colours of British Airways G-B0AA. This one has the engines from a 1/144 scale BAC Concorde.

As with most commercial airliners to boost sales they look towards the military turning the aircraft into a bomber or maritime patrol even as an electronic warfare platform.
This is my own creation and isn't finished yet. A long-range bomber used for testing experimental aircraft.
