What do you do when you have mojo, and the model you are working on has paint/glue/filler or whatever drying? You start another model!  ;D
Actually, I technically started this model at the Scottish Nationals last weekend when I was showing off the GodHand side-cutters for resin that I have. I cut the nose from the supports of this kit.

As I sit here typing, several parts are drying from having been sprayed with primer. All the major parts have been separated from their supports and given a quick clean.

Here are the contents of the first bag with the separated nose on the top right next to its base.

The majority of the parts in their bags.

And the wings and tail fin together.

I may try to do a metal finish, and if so, it will have to have a brightly coloured fin, just like some of the Lightning squadrons did.

I have been doing little bits and pieces in the background on this. I am painting the intakes white, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but is an endless round of coat after coat of paint to give decent depth to the colour. A few parts have been glued together. The two nose peices and the block for tilting the nose down, as well as the rockets for the rear fuselage sides.

I have decided on a colour scheme, Natural Metal, for the most part, the fin will probably be coloured, as I am picking markings from Xtradecal set X72088. Not decided between 56 Squadron and 92 Squadron yet, but those are the options I am considering.
