I may have one in The Loft, and I'm off back there this weekend. Does that big Python Spinner fit the Eagle's front end?

I've got the original MB5 prop but it wouldn't handle an extra 1000 hp would it?

Yes.  I've used Wyvern props on Eagle Tempests for years. The MB5 spinner won't fit the Eagle, it's just way too small.

I've a feeling that TsrJoe/Sandy had used the Wyvern engine front as a basis for their Eagle master, way back in the early 2000s.

I could use a smaller prop/spinner there as I did it with the Speagle a while back.

The extra diameter cowling ring around the smaller spinner became a ducted intake for some sort of cooler for it in that case. But I do like the idea of a Wyvern prop etc.

If you don't have a Wyvern prop, I can provide a resin Wyvern spinner, plus the spinner for the Eagle Tempest.  I can't cast blades yet.

Thanks Lee, but I think I have a couple of Wyvern kits in The Loft. I'll report back over the weekend.

The Super Monsoon's got about as far as it can go now. I've added a slightly taller fin/rudder, any taller and it would look silly, and pretty well finished off the PSR/priming on the modified fuselage, and it's looking about how I wanted it to look.

Further progress will require the wings that I want to use and they're back at my old house. I'll be off that way in a few hours on a 'sorting out & collection' mission and I'll be back with the wings (and a whole lot of other stuff!) on Tuesday.

Not if the tailplane was also deeper.  ;)

Good work!

I've been heaving junk stuff about all over my old house today, and can I find those wings for the Super Monsoon? Can I THUMP!  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

I KNOW they were there, but not where I looked today, but I did find some that might work after a bit of heavy duty filing anyway. But I did find one of the Wyverns kits that I had stashed away, so the Super Monsoon's got it's prop sorted, but now I wonder what to do with a prop-less Wyvern. Too many 'Jetverns' are already being built so maybe I'll build the glider version, with VERY long wings, eh?  ;)

A Wyvern sailplane? Now that's entering a whole new World of Weird!

So why not?  ;D

Would I need to keep the arrestor hook though?  ;)

Why not?  A Wyvern sailplane in ETPS  / raspberry ripple  livery might boggle the odd JMN or two.

Absolutely! I have history in making sailplanes out of jets anyway, the IAC Maglider from 2019

Wasn't that Fouga's main product before the Magister was ordered?

Yes, they did do gliders mostly, but started jets with the Cyclone, only one engine perched on top like an He-162.
