That's a very enjoyable kit, Chris.

DeeBob

A fantastic looking aircraft and what looks like a nice kit!
Perfect is the enemy of Finished. I presume. I've never achieved either.

And Manchukuo markings optional!

Speaking of which, is it half yellow or slightly more?

The Wooksta!

I've got one of those somewhere, and there's a Czech resin kit of it lurking in my Japanese aircraft box in the loft too.

If that'd be ok then yes please. I thought the Tojo kit had some in already but unfortunately not.

Right I've started work on this . Built a few sub-assemblies etc and hopefully the interior will get some paint in the coming days.

Interesting subject and a very interesting decal selection

No progress today, haircut day and I'm still feeling the effects of the sedatives

Hopefully get started on painting the internals tomorrow, touching wood.

Started to get some paint on the internals and dug out some Eduard IJA seat belts I knew I had somewhere

Not much progress expected between now and next week as I'm out and about next couple of days, but I'll try and remember to post some progress shots early next week.

I must admit this kit is going together really well, fit so far is excellent   My only gripe is that the sprue gates can be a little awkward to clean up, but nothing a decent micro file won't clean up.

Right a little more progress than expected late yesterday afternoon, so here's the shot of various sub-assemblies etc as promised. Since then the fuselage halves have been joined.

You cannot view this attachment.

The top of the fuselage requires a panel to be inserted ahead of the windscreen, now I can't see any reason why this panel should be a separate piece, but it will come in handy when it comes to inserting nose weight, which I'm sure it will need. There is no mention of nose weight in the instructions, or none I can see anyway, but I do wonder if that is what this panel is intended for ?

Now I need to figure out an Allied reporting name for her. Mind you I need to find a list of used ones first. If it wasn't used it might end up being called "Chris"  ;D
