Wow, that came out beautifully. The fuselage stretch makes the single version stand out compared to the F-82.

Absolutely beautiful, very well done!
Perfect is the enemy of Finished. I presume. I've never achieved either.

Very nice super-long-range Mustang!

Even better, I can see the rivet counters & JMNs frothing at the mouth when they see it!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

RAFF-35

I can't believe the size difference between the P-51 and the P-82 fuselages! I love how undetectable this is as a whif, well done!
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Cool, looks great, and it's really suble - could have accepted even longer wings!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thank you everyone, I do like that is a subtle WHIF, most will assume it's just a typical P-51.

It was good to knock the rust off, my first WHIF or GB in over a year.

Excellent work Dave.

Can you photograph the two 'stangs with the P51 in front?  I think doing that will look decidedly odd due to perspective being messed with.

Thank you, as requested some pictures with the stock P-51D nearest the camera.  Ancient Matchbox P-51D with ZM side codes.

Goodness, you've got me looking at the P51 there as if it's the disproportionate one!

I could never tire of telling you just how good the halftwin looks.

Creative, subtle and beautifully modelled - well done!

The perspective in this pic...

...does look a bit odd but not as odd as i'd hoped.  But thanks for pandering to me Dave.
