Sci-Fi landship idea.

Been toying around with this idea yesterday and today. Using leftover parts to make a sci-fi armored landship. It's not going to be very big as I don't have a lot of spare parts to work with to make it wider or longer, etc.
So what you see in the below photos is a "smaller" landship variant of sorts. Think of it as like a small destroyer or frigate I guess. Any extra guns and other parts I use would mostly come from spare 1/350 scale ship kits I have. I only have one spare railgun turret that you see in the below pics. I don't have any more.
Tell me what you think, folks. Thoughts on this design?

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

I like the whole idea! Maybe square off the helo flight deck over the giant loading ramp. Old style superstructure or something stealthy?

Looks like a fun project to me!

If I had ship parts laying around I'd try that! If you go with the 20s and 30s ideas about this it was always the more guns the merrier.
Definitely need the rear ramp!

Looks pretty modern to me. Needs anti-aircraft and anti-drone defences. Probably a means to launch drones too.

What do the tracks and road wheels look like ?

This makes me regret getting rid of some battleship decks...

Yes !!

Mortal Engines or a bit of the ancient game Ogre  ;D

Yes!!

BOLO!!!

I'd just build up a prow-style front hull, rather than trying to lengthen the hull sides. Same at the rear - and a rear ramp is the better option, IMHO.

Oh, I'm planning to hopefully make it angular and stealthy. As futuristic looking as I can.

It will have some smaller defenses, but not a lot.

Sorry to hear that. I always keep spare parts. You never know when you might need/use them. ;)

Tracks on the T28 are shown in one of the pics below.

As I said in my opening post, this most likely wouldn't be a very large landship. I'm estimating that if I build this, it will only be about 12" inches long, give or take. And since I'm using 1/350 scale model parts for detailing and such, 12" inches in 1/350 scale is about 100 meters, give or take. So I would classify this as a medium sized "land cruiser". Maybe with a crew of about 250 or so. But that can go up or down depending on how advanced and automated this vehicle is.
Below are some pics I found on the Internet that are giving me inspiration for how I could build this or how I want it to look. Very modern and very advanced. Notice all the small tanks in the pictures for scale reference.

That's a crazy good design! It must be nuke powered, no stack belching smoke. Only thing is I would get rid of the random gun barrels sticking out the sides. Maybe small turrets with different small caliber guns in sponsons. And with a couple of different ramps so the tanks can drive on and off for fuel and maintenance.
Now if that could get promoted as something the US is building and see how long it takes for Russia, China or Iran to claim they are building a better one! It worked for the "Star Wars" space weapons back in the Reagan era that never existed!

I can't wait to see pics of the recovery vehicle that will be sent to pull it out when it gets bogged...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Sounds like a good job for zenrat.  ;D
