Or clockwork even? With a BIG key to wind it up?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Quote from: Weaver on February 07, 2026, 12:18:42 AMThe enemy would be sitting in their trenches, getting more and more nervous, unable to see anything, just hearing the low thumping of steam engines, the clank of tracks and the occasional whistle...

Love it!!!

Meanwhile a couple of scouts are sent out to set up decoy whistles, which sound off regularly for up to two hours, depending on the filling of the firebox.

Heh - the steam equivalent of ECM/ECCM, but measured in decibels and psi instead of watts...

Where's it carried on most steampunk contraptions?

My answer: In Mary Poppins' handbag!  ;)

Or, in an armoured, tracked tender?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Hi.
Maybe you can add a plow on front and it could chew up and burn any trees, shrubs and/or peaty Bog that it digs up

The High Concentration Compressed Carboniferous Media, will be under the hatch named bunker

For major engineering.. this is just about it.
Front and rear 'Undulating Terrain Re-adjustment Stabilizers"
Machine Guns also finished. Maybe, they may get a forward strap around them

Frontal aspect, the front stabilizer wheels do have return springs, plus the not so fat controller who is under contruction.

The main event really, most of the build effort was around here after the initial construction. With all the cables and bits in place. Engineering committee met and Coolie hat stack protectors - Approved  ;)
Still work in progress though

Rear Stabilizers, had to clear the door. Need to fix the wonky one.

Now some dabbling with some Steampunky filigree ironwork, just using what I have without sourcing elsewhere at this stage. Just white glued on while I am at sit and contemplate mode

This might be it for a month, as I am off on holiday at the end of the week.  I do want to see it in primer though, lets see how it goes.

B) Whats the guy with the chef's hats job ? On board cook ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
