WONDERFUL! I've never seen a model of the Ta-400 before, and you've made a BLINDER of that one Tom.   

I hope you can bring/send it to Telford this year as it'd make a great pairing with my Ju 588. 

Definitely worth a Whiffie Nom, and I have.

You've got two options.  Try and track down an Antares resin one, which was expensive and hard to find when it was available or gt the 3d printed one from Germany, which is also expensive.

My model is the Antares one. I bought it many years ago. I have no idea how much I paid for it then,

It's not a really bad kit but not great either. The resin is rather brittle and breaks easily.
That is one of the reasons it's built gear up as the gear doors all broke it many small pieces.
The other reason is that there is no way to make this one sit on its nose wheel.
Interior is almost non existent.

I've a few Antares kits and the resin is almost the worst I've ever seen - the only resin I've found worse to work with is the resin Magna started with back in 1993 (Firebrand and Seamew) and the stuff Unicraft uses. Oh, and that vile polyester resin that Maintrack occasionally used.
