You can get them for 1/35 figures, too - there are quite a lot on those sheets (from images, I've not bought any).

The Leng Plateau is lovely this time of year

Hmm, my first attempt to apply decal eyes to the figure were ...not successful. While the transfer went well and decal softener did its job, the result is not ...convincing. The problem is that Urd has a special look, and her eyes are not the standard saucers but rather almond-shaped slits, so that she looks more adult than the rest of the cast. While there was a suitable pair of eyes in the set(s) the outcome is not convincing, at least to me, so that I also won't post a pic of that. Unfortunately I will have to lay hand on her face, this IS tricky!

Good news: the second attempt was more successful, and I found an even better pair of eyes. It's actually an "eye-bashing", because I took white brows (even with a thin white outline) from one pair of eyes and combined them with narrow green eyes and black/brown lashes from another set. According to official sources Urd has "amber" eyes, what I tried in my first attempt, but that was not "her". And judging official illustrations and screenshots from the OAV series, green is more authentic, and it looks much more convincing. Not bad so far, but there are still some cosmestic touches to be made. However, I hope I can put a coat of matt varnish on the figure tomorrow, during daylight.

Love your attention to the details Thomas mate...this will be another great figure and I'll put other people's money on that 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thanks for the encouragement, and in the meantime the building and painting process has crossed the finish line (with a final coat of matt varnish, and the display base is also ready):

Hope I can take scenic pics soon and then also publish some more background info about the character and its context here.  ;)

really come together well you've managed to get a good impression of depth both on the folds of the dress and on the hair

First evaluation of the shooting pics reveals a lot of editing work. For instance, I shot the figure on the base in front of printed backgrounds, and the base has to disappear somehow...  I will use a mix of AI and "manual" editing, just to see what new technologies can help in this process step.  ;)

Well, I am still in the picture editing phase, but that did not stop me from experimenting with generative A.I. and the material I have so far. And this is one early result - a fake manga cover artwork.  ;)

That's actually pretty good.
Is it possible to do the opposite and make her look RW?
