Another 1/48 TSR2, this time using the resin cockpit set, avionics bay, airbrakes and wheels.  The underbelly tank with integrated MARTEL datalink pod and the in flight refuelling probe were designed and 3D printed by me
Decals are from the elusive Xtradecal "What if" set, depicting a 45 Sqn aircraft in light stone and dark earth, based at RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus
The ladders, tow bar and tractor were purchased from Hannants.
The MARTELs and pylons came from the new Airfix Buccaneer kit

Looks great.

On a technical note, the data pod should be facing the rear as the Martel was to be launched towards the enemy ships then the aircraft would turn tail as the missiles continued towards the target, so the data pod needs to look to where the missiles are, not where the aircraft is going. But if you don't know that, you don't know that. Something for the future.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I had always thought that the data pod for the Martel was the wrong way around on the Buccaneer as well. So one day I decided to find out.
