hey guys
This will be my last completed build for the year. I think I started at least 9 different kits and finished maybe 4. This being #4. Very shameful....
Anywho, my son made me buy this one (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it), and together, we chose a paint scheme.
In the end, we settled on what you see below. I will admit, this is probably one of the best paint jobs I have ever done - with no mistakes or errors for once! Yep - I only had to paint this once, which for me, is pretty close to perfect as my Alfa Romeo GTAm is on it's 5th or 6th paint job (I can't remember).
The paints are Mr Super Metallic Pink Gold base colour (polished until it was gleaming), and then Zero Paints Candy red over the top. Once dried and the decals applied, it was SMS 2K clear on top.
I reckon because I spent so long on getting the base colour coat looking amazing, is why the rest of it went smoothly with minimal sanding needed. There's a first time for everything folks.
Anyway, enough words, here's the pics:

Well, that's all the pics. I had some interior ones somewhere - I just can't remember where I stored them. I used Gunze Velvet paint for the first time and it's really really nice!
Have a great Christmas peoples, ,and I shall see you all again in the new year
Stay safe and thanks for stopping in and having a look

Thanks mate   I've been experimenting with various base coats in other colours and this is still one of my favourites.

Thanks Rick   hopefully next year will see me be a bit more productive and present within the forums.  Heck, I MAY even finish off a couple of projects I started   who knows?

All the best of the season to you as well mate
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yep, that's on the list for next year. I picked it up a couple of months ago with a view to finish the fibre optical installation but my eye sight has deteriorated significantly since 2022 and I was really struggling to find the holes. I'm hoping my new glasses will help

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.
