Last year I had an opportunity to work on weathering on completed model of Firespray-class starship from Star Wars.  Naturally, I also felt that I need one :) I've never particularly liked the Firespray-class patrol ship, also called Slave One, but the amount of chips and dirt on the movie one made me want to play with the subject. So I picked up a 1/88 scale Revell kit and got to work exactly a week ago. I painted mainly with AK Interactive paints. I applied chips with hairspray method. All sorts of dirt were done with AMMO fluids and Kuretake pens. The base is a piece of Plexiglass and two tubes also made of this material.

Not a fan of the Firespray-class*, either, but you've done a great job of that one!

Lovely weathering.
You should throw around phrases like "vacuum ablation" and "micro meteorite impact".   ;)

I suspect there would have been some wear and tear on that great big canopy but I'm not sure if i'd be brave enough to attempt it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.
