I need some help with loading my photos on either Flickr or ImageSearchMan, I sure that this information will be useful for other people who can't get access to their imgur.com accounts or can't see them on the topics.
I need the simple 'idiots guide ' as I'm not a technology expert as it took several attempts to get it right with imgur.
All suggestions are welcome,

Thanks for your help

There is a thread about how to do it, somewhere on here.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

I've come across two tutorials one for imgur and the other one for photobucket, photobucket does have a 7 day free trial but charges $5 a month or $50 a year.
I've read the tutorial on here and I think that I could follow it otherwise its a case of using Facebook and trying to remember how I did it before.
Having been placed in a medical induced coma plays havoc with my memory, I see people's faces and I know that I've seen them before but I have no idea where.

FlickR is very straightforward. On each picture page you find in the right lower corner four icons:
  • Slider icon to launch the online editor
  • A curved arrow to create links to post/embed the picture elsewhere
  • A down-facing arrow to download the pic at viosu sizes
  • A trolley to create/buy prints

To link pics from FlickR here (or in other forums), you need the second button. If you click it, a white pop-up opens and offers a lot of format (headline) and size (dropdown menu) options.
To post pic here you need the "BBCode" format, chose the size you want to post, and the you simply copy the URL that shows up in the boxed text and paste it here.

Flickr is also free for the first 1000 pictures, not too expensive afterwards. Loading pictures to there is a simple drag and drop operation.

That's all correct, but the whole BBCode it gives you includes a long "tail" of text describing the pic and the Flickr address. I don't like that, so after pasting the pic into the forum, I delete everything outside the image tags like this:

<delete everything> [IMG] <address of just the pic> [/IMG] <delete everything>

Example:

Full code:

Which gets you this:

Edited code:

Which gets you this:

What I like to do to get an image link from Flickr, on Windows:
Find the picture
Click the down arrow icon and select "View all sizes"
Once you find a good size, right-click the pic and select "View image in new tab" (or whatever your browser offers).
Select and copy the address line from that new tab,
Click the "insert an image" icon here and paste the image address.

You cannot view this attachment.

Interesting and helpful gentleman. I'll sticky this so it's there for future reference

Many thanks

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm not seeing any images but I have the following text:

https://flic.kr/p/2rwKnU

I clicked the upload icon and insert, then width but I still can't see the picture.

I have the share icon and I clicked the URL  copy  to link it to this site, must be doing something wrong with my tablet.
When shared icon do I need to click to get it to work?

You need to find a piece of code that has file ending .jpg at the end. (Or somewhere in it if you copy the whole BBCode)

Like:

I don't know where that is, but I will keep looking. The upload code doesn't show the jpg unlike imgur which did. I have tried the img icon but it doesn't seem to work when I press the insert button but the box next to it let's me click on the link to reveal the photo.
I'm not too sure if I can use a mouse with a tablet, I know copy and paste works using a PC or laptop.
