As stated.

I want to put some railings on an Airfix 1/600 HMS Hood, and have found these:

https://www.tomsmodelworks.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_35&products_id=139&osCsid=5636887cf5615fe634120ed6c8b3298a

I have contacted the makers, but as yet haven't heard back.

What I would like to know is, will the one set do for the whole model, or will I need a second?

Thanks for looking, and any advice.

I don't do photoetch railing. But if I did, I'd probably order two sets. You never know if you might need extra due to mistakes, not being enough for a ship, etc.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

That's my thinking, but as I'm only wanting/likely to do the one, well... hence my call for help.  <_<
I mean, if the price quoted is KiwiBucks, two are doable. But if there's a lot unused, it's a PITA to store/find a use for the leftovers.

So my timing is as 'good' it usually is...

I heard back from them today.

5.5" per length, 10X lengths per fret, for a total of 55" of railings.
At 4-and-a-half FEET of railing, I think there's quite enough for my purposes, even counting practice/snafus...
and as I am envisaging something battle-damaged, even stuff I've mangled could find a use.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
