What is it? I tried it in Hobbysearch and came up with nothing.

It does come up on Google, but it's a radiator..................  :-\

This one? F-15 Kai from Patlabor 2.

Seems to take cues from several real and proposed F-15s and runs with them: Intakes and canted tails from Silent Eagle, F-15U wing, F-15 SMTD canards and thrust vectoring.

At the bottom of the description it says:

I still say I should have the job of correcting all this mistranslated stuff.

That job's all yours, mate! That's a 26hrs/day, 9days/week, 56weeks/year, 12 years/decade job that is! No breaks, no mealtimes, no sleep!  :o  :o  :o

In the late 60s-early 70s I did that 'translation' for Riko's imports into the UK from Tamiya, Bandai, etc. They provided the kits and the Japanese instruction sheets, and I wrote new instructions in English as I went, not actual translation though as I don't read Japanese! Riko included a properly printed version of my writings with each kit sold in the UK for some years until the manufacturers realised they could do it themselves and still retain their company 'style'.

This worked fine till Tamiya did their 1/21 scale (I think) Tiger 1 tank with a full interior. That was SO complicated, and of course I know NOWT about tanks, that it took much longer than normal, and much longer than Glyn Pearson, the Riko rep, had allowed for, so the first batch of big Tiger 1s went out to their UK buyers with photocopies of my typewritten instructions included in the kits!  ;)   ;D

The big Tiger was released in 1969 and it's 1/25th scale.
