As they're all European manufacturers (including the UK :wacko: ), I guess they'd be trying to get them into the USA.

Now, the An-2 only has a range of 845km, & they're not going to go via the USSR Russia or China. So:

Prague - 707km - Amsterdam - 657km - Edinburgh - 649km - Vágur (Faroe Islands) - 818km - Reykjavík (Iceland) - 757km - Tasiilaq (Greenland) - 683km - Nuuk (Greenland) - 816km - Iqaluit (Nunavut, Canada) - 627km - Kuujjuaq (Quebec, Canada) - 589km - Labrador City (Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada) - 746km - Québec City (Québec, Canada) - Somewhere in the USA

Avgas is about US$2.50/L & the An-2 sucks it up at about 185–200 L/h (let's do best case) & its cruising speed is 190 km/h & overall distance travelled is 7,850km, thus the approx, cost is US$19,110 (worst case is about US$20,660).

I'm thinking paying the tariffs may be cheaper!  :o

I looking forward to seeing more 😊 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Fuselage glazing is in (I don't think I can fit the 2-piece cockpit glazing until after the fuselage is together, I've had a test run).

Just finishing off the pilot's briefcase.

Once that's done & in, & the masking's cut for the fuselage windows (just in case they pop out when I'm doing the masks), It'll be time to slap the fuselage halves together around the interior.

Quite visible with the glazing in place;

The rather messed up corner of the glazing;

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks, Phill!  :bow:

The briefcase was a suggestion by "raafif", over on BtS, & was scratch-built with bits from my "Left-Over Styrene" box.

The pilot needs somewhere to keep his sandwiches, flask, and smokes...

 ;)

And, possibly, even maps & radio frequency charts - but the whiskey flask is probably the most important.  :wacko:

Just thinking about that ... Maybe I should do a thermos flask?!  :unsure:
