Oh Bravo sir !!

Stellar stuff with the 3D prints, they hit the spot as far as I am concerned. Much more logical type of unit that my efforts on the Stridsvagen 131 for anti Drone fittings.

Those 3D prints do look the business

Yep...man that works great ..the 3D aspect makes me jealous 😫 😆
It's times like this when I wish I had one ..I really thought I had the AD LAV-25 in the stash cause I want it's Stinger pods for my Abrams Marksman I started a while back..turns out I don't have one  :banghead:
Bugga  ;D

Thanks, guys. This is the first time I've gotten everything to print properly so soon after setting up a printer. It usually takes a fair amount of time (and resin) to get things dialed in.

Phill - I thought I had a newer Bradley AND LAV-25, but they're both the early early Tamiya/Academy variants.

Oh when it comes to 35th Bradley's old chum i scorced a Meng M2A3 with the interior set for a stupidly low price
Its the Italeri AD LAV 25 i thought i had which comes with two 4 round stinger missile pods and its those i wanted and man its driving me nuts with this bloody memory ,,I thought i had a Hunting Tiger which had been built ,,quite badly but it turned out to be a Hunting Panther instead ,,which is annoying cause i need its tracks ,,well King Tiger tracks in general  :banghead:

Slowly making progress. I cobbled together a Mk.19 from several sources, only to discover that there's no good spot on the tank for it. It's either in the way of the driver and TC periscopes or it's in the way of the main gun... so I'll save it for a future build.

I did paint the tires and put a coat of NATO black on the vehicle. The patchy black is intentional. I also started some basic digital camo on the turret:

The tires are just pressed on and not aligned. The hubs/wheels are in 4BO,

The yellowish patches on the turret are tape. There's more camo to come, although the main vehicle will have less extensive camo.

It looks pretty nice without the side armor. More like an APC and less like a block of cheese.

The side armour will cause problems with steering if fitted.  Because it's rigid it will inhibit the amount the front wheels can turn.  You're better off without it.   :banghead:

I adjusted the spacing of the armor as well as the mounting and while it's not going to have a tight turning radius, all four front wheels can turn.

I spent a lot of time (but surprisingly, not tedious) masking this beast, The dark gray is NATO black and the green is a mix of NATO green and 4BO - all three are in ATOM acrylics (great paints!). Since this is basically a crepuscular and nighttime hunter, I want it to look like part of a dark treeline from a distance:

The drone launcher is just temporarily tacked on, but this may be the final position:

I still have a fair number of bits to add, then some detail painting.

Wonderful Franky mate  ;D
This is gonna be sweet when finished ✅️  ;D

Nice paint, but the thought of masking it makes me shudder.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Fred, it was pretty easy - I used an Infini Model Easycutting Mat Type A to cut the masks. I lined up a stretch of Tamiya tape with one of the lines and cut away. When I got bored of cutting, I placed the masks on the model. When I ran out (or got bored) I went back to cutting some more.

I'm calling this one finished, simply because I was starting to break things off and scuffing the paintwork while handling this beast.

I wanted to get some dusk pictures, but these will have to do:

The soldier is from an ICM set. The wire cutter at the front and a couple of other bits are from the AFV Club Stryker spare parts set.

The anti-drone box on the top rear of the turret was a PITA; every.single.antenna broke off - at least once.

The tires do turn, but the rear turning pair of tires (they're linked) bounce back to neutral on their own. 2509 is the year and month I finished this:

I thought the rear lights were going to be delicate, since they're just a PE frame around a clear part, both with tiny attachment points... but they never moved:

This shot would have worked better in twilight, but it does show that the camo works OK:

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement!
