weekend build? pah! got this one out of the box about 11am on monday & it was finished on the shelf by 11pm  :D

what I failed to mention that it is a Gemini Jets 1/400 die cast, from which I stripped the Air France markings, re-sprayed the tail fin & added the decals from various Modeldecal lettering, Xtradecal stripes & White Ensign roundels

Absolutely beautiful!

It's a shame there wasnt the funding/political will to put a couple of ex-BA Concordes in RAF service as VVIP transports.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

too bad there are no hardpoints on the Concorde's...they would have been great anti ship missile platforms...or maybe ASATs?
cool little plane...when I first looked at it, I was wondering how in the hell you got that plane glued up, glossed, and decaled in twelve hours...

Echoing the sentiments already stated, what a beautifu looking version of the Delta Lady. It just looks right.

Oops......just noticed that one myself !

Great work, Mikey ! Good idea, too....swapping out the marlings like that.

What do those 400th scale Gemini jets go for over there ? There was a Corgi Concorde at a store here for about 8 bucks, but the nose was plastic, and it ruined the whole model.

Cheers !

PS-it wasn't the beer...it was the sneaking onto the computer and posting whilst I was supposed to be working that got me !

Sweet Concorde!

Stupid question time from a newby:  How do you post multiple pics per post?  I don't want to keep having to post replies to topics to put up multiple views of the model, and see that the above Concorde is all in one efficient post.

Depends, how/where are you storing your pics for upload? I use Photobucket and just insert the links one after the other in the post. If you want to put a space in between each picture, and perhaps add a caption, just hit 'Enter' between each link.

And there are few 'stupid questions', it took me a while to figure it out too. But then, I was too stupid to ask how!  :dum:
