The Brigand was a big bruiser of an aeroplane, I remember seeing a couple of them when I was at Benson and they sure looked beefy, and VERY loud too!

I ought to get one, and Valom kit it as I recall.

Yep, AFAIK TF.1 (have one) and B.1 boxing's.  Maybe also a T.4?

I used to scramble around the T.4 wreck in the famous/infamous Failsworth (Manchester) scrapyard when ah were a lad (cue 1970s Hovis TV ad music).  IIRC that particular T.4's fuselage is now (just googled) owned by the RAF Museum.  I say T.4 - I always thought it was as I distinctly recall it being painted in the classic 1950s RAF trainer scheme of aluminium with yellow 'trainer' wing/fuselage bands.

Now there's a good whif idea for an Ar240

The Arado's fully PSR'd and primed now too, and ready for the first colour coat.

Unfortunately the underside colour on both this and the Spitfire engine test bed should be yellow, and I don't have any yellow paint with me just now. As Halfords have shot themselves in the foot with their 'new improved' range of car paints, I'm having to look elsewhere, and failed twice y'day and today.  :banghead:

The first potential supplier didn't even exist when I got there and the second hadn't got a clue what I was talking about. :(

So much for the Net, I'll be on the phone on Monday I expect.

I've got the first colour coat on the 240, and it took three goes as the first two were very rough and needed sanding down! Shades of balsa models in the 50s!

Having got that sorted I started masking it up for the complex Luftwaffe splinter scheme, only to find that Revell's instruction writers/draughtsmen don't know what they're doing as the various views on the instruction  sheet don't match up.  :banghead:

I'll make up my own scheme based on theirs, but as this is a Whiff no-one can tell me it's wrong, can they?
