Evidently R-R did work on turbo-compound versions of the Griffon, one of which was a diesel conversion. The latter wouldn't be totally out of the realm of possibility as R-R did make a diesel conversion of the Kestrel back in the mid-'30s. The intention was to push the Griffon's output up into 3,000+ range.

Something like a COIN with a large gun.

Or maybe nose doors, kind of a mini-Superfreighter. It's about tubby enough for a short landrover - could easily make it so if it isn't quite.
Cheers.

Captain Canada
