Never realised that Xtracolors paint needed that much drying time. Would be a reason to change brands for me. I used to have the second coat of Humbrol paint on in a matter of an hour or so. That is sprayed an not brushed, might be a diffrence in drying time there also
You must be a man with lots of patience Nev.

Patric, I've found that Xtracolor paints can't be brushed on, typical gloss paints!!! The drying time is quite long, I normally leave mine for about a day before I start handling the modl again, but then I o tend to spray on a couple of coats at the same time.

Guess Ill stay with the old trusted Model Masters and Humbrol paints then. Dry in a matter of hours in stead of days.

I did/do brush paint with Xtracolour - can be done but need's a lot of coats.

Now switched almost exclusively to Xtracrylic - brilliant !!!
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm gonna have to try that new xtracryllic stuff.

Absolutely stunning, Nev!
What a stand-out this will be in contrast with all the dull greys out there, eh?

Great job.  Keep up the productivity at this rate and you'll need a whole new shelf soon.

Nice Mirage!  I'm always looking for a way to get blue into a camoflage scheme, but overall blue looks great.

Thanks guys.

Lee, I wondered if you'd pick up on the serial  :D   The real serial is XV408, which I changed to XV840 just to bump it along a bit.  Was all I could do as it was the only white serial numbers I could find in my stash.
