Underneath.  I've lost count of the number of rounds of filling, sanding & primer she's had so far.  I think its 4...

I've still got to blend in the canopy & forward gear doors which so far I've managed to forget!!!!  :dum:

Hopefully I can get her all filled & smooth & ready for painting by the end of the weekend...

Well, Nev, while I can understand that it might be a P.I.T.A. but I gotta tell ya: it looks GREAT so far!  Hard to go wrong with any delta wing in your collection as they just naturally stand out so well.

Keep up the great (worthwhile) work!

I wondered what you wanted the roundel blue for - keep going Nev she'll look good in the end
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ollie

But then again I told you that at Doncaster  ;)

Xtracolour enamels are legendary for their long drying times.  Humbrol say 6 hours drying time for their enamels but most folk leave it 24 hours between coats. Hence I used hyperbole to say 24 days drying for extracolour.

My 2nd coat went on 36 hours ago and its still very slightly tacky.  I've read of people leaving models painted with xtracolour for over a week before it was dry.
