First up are a couple of views of my KP Avia B-35, done in Slovak markings for the short war they had with Hungary in 1939.

Now three of my Anigarnd Arado 581-4 - No 1. I must of left the nose wheel to long as she stands on all three toes but still drags her bum !

Final view. Hungarian AF transfers are from as heet of Axis & Swiss national markings I got from Martin plus unit and personal markings (wolf's head & playing card) from a Sky Decals CR42 sheet which had a couple of Hungarian examples on there. Great value sheets especially for unit/personal markings.

Flown in fighting arond Lake Balaton June 1948 as the Allies push on from Salonika and Venizia landings.

Very nice, Chris !

Love the 'flying bathtub'. Couldn't tell how cool looking it was from the pics on martin's site.....looks like it would be just as at home in water !

The B-35 looks like it has 'borrowed' parts from Hawker ( tail ) Messr. ( canopy ) Curtiss ( pointy end ) the wings look like the old Seversky or even that ginat Heinkel, and those are Fiat legs !

Of course, I'm only saying this as it's the first time I've ever seen one......

And lastly, that 'bathtub' would look spot on in one of the Matrix' dioramas !

QuoteChris, I think RS Resins do the version of the Avia with the retractable u/c.
Lee repmembers correctly; they do a kit of the Avia B.135.

Love them both!!!!!!!!!

I don't think the problem is the nose wheel is two long it's the rear gear appears to short?!?!

Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Chris,

Just love the Arado;

and the camo on the Slovak job is really cool, too.

Tricycle planes that end up a tail sitter are a real nightmare, aren't they?

Great Work!

*gentle chuckle* I have to admit, Chris, you at least got a kit of the most attractive variant of the E.581; some of the other ones definitely lack in aesthetic appeal.  I do have to compliment you, gorgeous work on both.
