Quite a nice site with LOTS of pics of captured stuff, on both sides, centred in WWII, but with a few Cold War captures right at the end.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wow, that is a great find.  I have a thing for captured/exploited types and there are several in that article that I did not know were captured (like the Martin B-26) and many photographs I had never seen before, thanks for the link.

I was looking up some  information on the groups who went round Germany in mid-late 1945 collecting Luftwaffe aircraft etc to bring back to the UK for the backstory for the He 119 V10.

I didn't actually find anything on them but I did find that. Worth it I think.

A certain Captain Brown would surely be involved.

It's quite possible that 30 Assault group (Ian Fleming's  Red Indians)  might well have been involved   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._30_Commando   As Wiki says :-Some 30AU missions in Germany during early 1945 reportedly remain subject to official secrecy.

He's in the backstory already.  ;D

Interesting pics but the captions leave some things to be desired (accuracy for example) in some cases.

Yeah, it's a bit of a hodge podge of information all over. But the pics are really good.

That Japanese 4 engined bomber was very cool and I'm surprised at how many ultra rare aircraft the allies had and it's so sad that none were kept ...man it's love to see those still existing  ;D

Developed from the DC4 from memory. It was overweight and under-powered.   :banghead:
