Plus told her I ordered them before Christmas (white lie - it was mid-January) & that I was going to tell her they were coming when they had cleared customs (true), but when I checked to UPS app from Airfix on Monday they were still sitting in Melbourne awaiting that clearance, then the app told me that they had been delivered shortly after midday on Tuesday!    

Well at least it keeps you on your toes

That's what i also thought, they probably make them as orders come in. They have a good feedback score and very few complaints. Most of the positive comments mention fast shipping so, i'm hoping it won't be too bad.
Also, i'm not going to use the parts as soon as i get them so i don't mind waiting longer than usual, as long as i get what i paid for in a reasonable amount of time.
