Just arrived, from Jadlam hobbies. Hobbyboss Dornier DO335 Pfeil heavy fighter. Not a lot of work needs doing to construct the kit as the fuselage is one piece, as is the wings. Should be an easy conversion to do as long as I have a suitable nose and tail cone. I will give it some guns in the wing roots as well as in the nose.

Always the same.  Just when you think you're getting ahead...something happens and you're back where you were.

Over the last few days I have received some Vallejo Ultra Matt acrylic clear (someone here recommended it - can't remember who but thanks), some resin wheels/tyres for 1/35 ICM ZiL 131 (turns out I already had a set in the kit box - oops), and a 1/25 AMT Parts Pack set of emergency flasher units (roof units with red, blue, green, and yellow clear parts - there are more Gotham City PD vehicles in my future).

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Done that a few times with masking sets. Ordered some in prep for a build, opened the box and I've already got a set   I now put a label on boxes to tell me what else is in there

I have a stash database which is supposed to contain this information.  This shows me that 1) I should check the entries before buying b) I need to do a stocktake looking in boxes as I go.
I do write on the boxes when I rob major components for kit bashing but not when I add stuff.
However, extra wheels is not the end of the world.  Many of the kits in the stash would be improved by fitting fat, military tyres.

I had a fairly detailed stash spreadsheet when I was using Lotus 123, which I used at work and was quite good with. I managed to keep it until I retired even though BS/Corus had moved over to Xcell. Never did get to grips with Xcell, and never really have. Old stuck in the mud I'm afraid.
