Well guys, I hope you're sat down because.... it's update time!  :o

So, from the (I hope) top:

- My TinySHAR is all but done. Just requires the missing Sidewinder and a Satin varnish

- The P-63 continues. Just need to do a leather cover on the bottom of the control column and the pilot finishing. Much easier to do this with wheels up rather than try and faff with weights. The white blob is the instrument panel which, for reasons only known to Toko, is clear plastic. So I've painted the back white for the dial faces and will be very carefully going over the front with black.

- Number three is the Sinister Swordfish. Just needs some decal application and the rockets painting and she's done.

- Finally, the first batch of Dark Angles for my Sci-fi project on the rack ready for a blast of undercoat. Unfortunately it's been raining here today so waiting for better weather!

In other news, I've been diagnosed with ADHD of the inattentive variety. Not totally a surprise due to my struggles to stick on a task, mainly in leisure activities, but nice to have a reason why and to start some sort of treatment/assistance. However, before I can start my medication I need an ECG so just waiting for my GP to sort that out!

Good to see the progress

As for the ADHD. At least you now what it is, always easier to deal with things when you have a reason for the what's happening. Best of luck with the treatment
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

So, due to the weather not being great for undercoating, I have made a start on a second rack of mini's from the list. This includes my take of a "Named" character from the books and the first proper attempt at serious conversion for the project. This is to convert a 40k Incursor/Infiltrator to a 30k scout and to create my own Plasma Incinerator for the Dark Angel only unit. I'll post the relevant pics on the thread tomorrow for those interested.

The rockets for the Sinister Swordfish have had the yellow painted onto their nose, just awaiting a steady hand so I can paint the green and leave a thin line. Also still need to hunt down my large pot of gloss varnish

The undercoating went well and paint has been applied, just need to try and work on doing more. I've done a little using the AK pens and it seems to work for broader areas, but limited colour range means I will have to use the ol' hairy stick. Trying something new with the basing, using old out of date Parsley suitable glued and sealed. See how that works out!

May spend the next week tidying the desk up as it's become a bit of a dumping ground so struggling to find things, not ideal!

Apparently Chamomile Tea, used or not, works well also.

And the teabags can make scale sandbags, with suitable filling...

A week of appointments and things to keep the DWP happy and a good result on my ECG have meant not much time at the desk while I sort out other housely things like cleaning etc. However, I have managed to dig out a couple of boxes from my dad's gazebo to root things out for the Downfall GB. Hopefully I can crack on without much distraction as they're all quite straight-forward and I have the house to myself again this week. Lets just hope the weather holds! Question is, what to do first? P-47 or Seafire  :-\

Due to roofers starting work this week, my Dad and I have been clearing out the storage space in the eves. This has led to a lot of head scratching on my part as a load of blue bagged boxes have come out which are all light enough to suggest they're models. A lot haven't seen the light of day since I had to move back.

Quite what's there I've no idea, but I suspect a sorting is in the offering this week. It has led to the rediscovery of an Academy T-50 and Heller Bloch 174 that I've not been 100% sure I had in my stash, so it's been a good affirmation that I have them.

the other possibility is board games i suppose?
are you missing you copy's of Risk, Monopoly, game of life, jumanji, and mousetrap?

the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

Don't think they're board games, though getting into the crawl space is a little akin to Jumanji at times...

I have mine in cabinets in the basement so I can check on them once in a while. I don't want them to feel completely ignored. I keep telling them, "Your turn will come!"
