So this is the new Airfix 1/3rd scale Paper Airplane kit finished in the box art scheme.

I had thought about trying to replicate the scheme I remember from my childhood but trying to do all of those blue lines in scale put me off.

Did you have to do much PSR on it?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Actually that looks really neat

Brilliant!

Now I'm jealous as heck that I didn't think of that.  Mind you, I'm not much for paper models ...   ;)

Actually there was a bit.  I sent the files from Airfix to one of my club members who printed it up.  I had to sand down the support connections but not too bad.  He said if he did it again he would probably do the plane standing on its tail end.

I put it in our local contest a couple weeks ago and included a pic of the Airfix boxart.  Somehow it didn't place, go figure.

Finished properly, or the more usual "gave up and declared it done even though you had many more things you wanted to do"?

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
