Oddly I find it can be annoyingly quick, especially during the summer months. Hataka's 30 minutes between coats (normally) is good for me    But each to his own

I've had that happen a few times with Tamiya

I usually can't brush Tamiya - if it doesn't dry as it goes on, the next coat pulls the first one up again... 
Airbrushing only for that, for me... but Vallejo is great for Ye Olde Sticke of Hairyness, as is Ye Olde Humbrol...
(Hataka sounds great from all accounts, but it is HORRIFICALLY expensive here, so... No.)

Hataka stuff IS good yes, but I only use the Blue Line for brush painting, and am very pleased with it.  Some of their colours are a bit strange, and for some reason are NOTHING like the real thing, but by and large they're my paint of choice at the moment.

One of the limiting factors for the Harrier force was the range of the Sea King SAR platform. A pair of former USMC CH-53 Sea Stallions were modified for the role and sold to the RN.

I've got British CH-53s in several of my scenarios, not least because, given the Sikorsky-Westland partnership, you might very well imagine them being built in the UK if we wanted enough.
