It's easy to work with and ten times stronger than plastic without doing any math at all

Yes, but attaching said rod to the TINY wheels would be a real pain I'm sure. But I'll have to do something as the model's going to be at Telford and I doubt the wheels will survive the trip.

I repeat 'It's a pity Miko Mir don't mention the 6 degrees in the instructions'. Not everyone has those resources to hand and it's a vital part of the build, but you don't find that out till adding the balancer wheels, and that's almost the last step in the instructions.

If ya can drill a hole like .3mm and with a good tensile brass wire you could bend a °90 angle and work from there 😉
K&S metals brass rod is bloody good to work with ..ive even used it to fix a cars door handle mechanism

It did compete with the Canberra for the USAF decision which ended with us getting the B-57.

Maybe for the backstory, the UK could put more effort into it's nuclear weapons program andless into aircraft, hence why they had to buy a US bomber to drop a British nuke.

Don't you normally "drown" your models in a big box of foam packing peanuts? Maybe for this one, make a proper transport base for it out of foam sheet and cocktail sticks. That way you can position supporting "buttresses" under each wing that take the weight off the outriggers, and then "peg" the fuselage with cocktail sticks so that it doesn't move.

...but not without major mods, esp. the tandem cockpit which finds here a kind or reniassance in UK. Nice twist.

The one I've got half written is something like that, 'more strings to our bow' etc.

Something like that, yes. I use the foam chips from cushion filling to carry my collection around in normally.

You're dead right, I will need to do something special for the Master, with supports under the wings themselves, leaving the outriggers clear of the surface.

I use blocks of upholstery foam in small chunks placed under the wings or fuselage. Any place that has the smallest amount of parts to break off. The upholstery foam has just the right amount of "bounce" to it.

That's the stuff I use chips of to carry my collection around, but in small pieces of course.

Maybe some rubber foam lined Lego to help hold it to the bottom of the box and reduce/stop movement within?
