After looking at Overscans link 10 days ago of the CGI TSR-2 art i made the mistake of looking at some of the others by the same artist and noticed one that appeared suitable to my construction methods and one that i also had the drawings for... The Hawker 1134 Mach 3-4 Test Aircraft

where to start ....

And my model so far...

Still to sort out a U/C and detail the Ram jet exhausts but i hope you like it.

Cheers

*sigh*

you are like the ANTI me - i'd just be drawing her and thinking what a sweet plane she was, and feel sorry for myself...maybe start it but lose heart...

YOU on the other hand have semi casually thrown together a masterpiece, again.

abso-fecking-lutely great stuff geoff - you gonna keep her as a period piece in the anti flash or we having another scheme?

recce version?

i may have wood.

Can't wait to see the end results!

Hmm, perhaps you can clone some bits from a XF-103 aft section to do the ramjets?

Captain Canada

Wicked, Geoff ! You are the King !

I could see a ramp full of them now....awesome looking bird, eh ?

And it does share some similarities with the Arrow !

And I noticed the Husky in the background, you dirty.........my local shop is trying to find a place to get them. I can get them from UDISCO or whatever they're called, but they're a bunch of low-ball assholes I've heard.

But desperate times......

;)
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Yes, UDISCO are a bunch of SOBs...

They are 20 minutes from my place.

She's a bit smaller than the Arrow, and alot faster but with a very small range due to less than an hours fuel. An operational version would require a large belly tank i fear. Powered by single jet engine with two ram jets on on either side to push the aircraft past mach 3.

As for the Husky its a rather nice little kit and we should see the other two more convential versions by the end of the year.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
