I plan to draw several P-38 cargos with room for load, loading door, etc.
I will start to draw November 1st this is the schedule but I may mention 2 RW projects for this: on my site http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/update_FG.htm
find (ctrl-f) Lockheed Patent
and you will see both.
They are ugly according to me. I plan to make more pretty versions even if less efficient. :-\  ;D

I will not name them C-38, as there are/were already two C-38s:
-   The Douglas C-38 of 1938 which was a DC-3 or DC-2 (depending on the source)
-   The Gulfstream C-38 Courier of 2006
None seems to have XC-38 or YC-38 name, but as I plan at least 3 versions, maybe 6 (or even more groups of 3), these 2 codes are not enough, I will probably call them C-138, C-238, C-338 and so on. <_<

It could be a CP-38, being a cargo version of a fighter, maybe?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Uh, partly, as rather small twin-boomers with high wing and rear door, but more Lightningish,.
Twin-boomers with a cargo rear door are numerous and I plan to add new ones, very connected to the P-38.

Yes, and there are dozens of other examples.
Below is the current 9-plane drawing project (draft in French, sorry)

Update of the project, actually reaching 12 designs as I considered:

Good inspiration, thanks!
(Mine are intended to be smaller, closer to the P-38 itself, with just 2 engines, but this is the future, November 2022)

I agree for science fiction and spacecraft, may the future be now! ;)
But for this GB, the rule commands not to draw before November.

Today and tomorrow, this is a week-end, but this is not November 1st yet, so I will wait Tuesday to start, drawing all right.
