Another rescue from the "Shelf of Doom": Revell 1/72 F4U-1 started sometime in 2015.

This kit was introduced back in 1963, making it a year younger then me!
Another one down!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

I rather like the look of the FAA short winged Corsairs, and yours looks a treat.

Rather ironic that the FAA did manage to fly them off carriers and the original users, the USN, didn't.  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I should add that the old Airfix 1/72 Kit donated some replacement parts and an unused decal scheme.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
