During these days without camera card, I have stopped the ongoing model (S-51D') but I have ordered from China another model: 1/144 model of MiG-21PF Fishbed by Mini Hobby Models, cheap! And I always receive these 1/144 kits I order this way (1 or 2 months after ordering).
My project is to make an asymmetric T-tail version MiG-21B-141:

What is the technical advantage of this layout? Providing fun to the "manufacturer."
What is the military advantage of this layout? It does not work so this avoids anger from pacifists.

Here is the source I ordered, to modify significantly...

I have received this one just 6 days later! China seems next door from France! Or air transport, fast, would exist! ;D

Here are the parts I am going to use. I forgot the nose one, that I removed from the sprues but that felt from the table (fortunately I have found it, not lost)... <_<

First drops of glue, in urgency, not to loose the tiny canopy away...

When I drew the asymmetric 21B-141 project, I imagined that the nose would be in 3 (or 4) parts: 2 half cylinders, to be around the sharp radar cone (in 1 part or 2 halves). But this was a wrong guess: it is given as a single complex part, and I will have to change a little the shape after whif modification without too much work. :-\

Here is the updated project, without separate nose cone:

This bad nose had to become sharp, and I was afraid to need putty/sanding, but from the start, cutting the air intake plastic improved a little than sanding the plastic gave what I wanted, no need of putty! ;D

I truncated the fuselage and... the jet part has not at all a round hole in the front (the way I expected).
So I will make it solid, round more or less, then put color as a black "hole" (fictive).
I added putty in that direction already.

First sanding is done, but this is far from the end of PSR: :-\

Close to completion (I lost one tailplane, days ago, it will probably never be found again) :-\

Then the side above (this MiG-21 is a very little thing): <_<

The zwilling version, alas, was more sad, very symmetric: <_<
